A Bunch of Crying

So here are some pictures that are worth crying about. First, Hayden wasn't too excited to get dressed up by his sisters. That a boy, I'm sick of the princess thing too! Secondly, this is what we woke up to the morning of Sept. 21, yep the 21st! We blinked and now fall is gone. I am still in denial thinking it's just a fluke and we still have a couple of weeks of beautiful fall but Jeff says wishful thinking. It doesn't help much that it's snowing again today, aagghh!!!

Love the Fall

First Day of School

Here is Saige on her first day of school. She was so excited to go. I told her we would leave after lunch so starting at 10 am that day she was so hungry and ready for lunch. I can't believe my little girl is off to school!

A Beautiful Fall Day

Here are some pictures of a hike the kids and I did with my friend Dana and her two kids Emilia and Reed. This was what the kids and I were doing the day Jeff shot his moose. As you can see it was a BEAUTIFUL day in Denali and the colors were gorgeous. Dana was so awesome and carried Canyon for me so I didn't have to try and carry both.

Jeff's Moose

Here are some pictures of Jeff's moose he shot this weekend with his bow. He was so excited because first off we honestly didn't think he would even see one, let alone shoot one, and secondly this was his first moose and with his bow. It is 53 inches wide and about 53 hours of work!!!

He's not excited or anything!

The pack out. It took about 4 and a half hours to cut up and about 4 hours to pack out!
This is our wonderful friend Keith Clark who was willing to get up at the crack of dawn to go with Jeff to help him find the moose and then spend the entire day and evening cleaning, cutting and packing it out. Did I mention what a wonderful friend he is and his wife Jesse for letting Jeff take away her husband for the entire day. Thanks Keith and Jesse!

More of our cute boys!

Here are some more pics of our cute boys at about two and a half months old. They are growing and weigh in at about 12 pounds now. They are a really fun right now as they are starting to interact with us, smiling and laughing. Of course there is plenty of fussing too but those cute teethless smiles and heart melting goos make it all worth it. Canyon on the left, Hayden on the right

Sunflower Days

Here is our beautiful sunflower that we have been growing all summer. The girls have been so excited about it and then last week we woke up one morning and the flower had broken off and was lying on the ground. We were all really bummed because it has been so fun to watch it grow. We will definately plant more next year!

3 out of 4 isn't bad
